Below are a couple of assignments that I've done and how my work got better during the course of the years
Dissent Unit: Mirabal Sisters

My print and sketch represents the Mirabal sisters and how symbolic they were to Dominican Republic after the rule of Rafael Trujillo.
-- The eye on the top left corner represents the sisters a.k.a. the butterflies, the tears represent tears of blood... from all the pain and agony people living in DR had to endure.
-- In the middle, we can see a butterfly which shows the flag of DR.
-- Trópico De Sangre, in english, means Tropic of Blood.
